Fun with Mr. Peepers

Here are some photos of my little baby bird friend, Mr. Peepers, who I was lucky enough to encounter on two separate occasions.

In these first two photos Mr. Peepers was a new fledgling, hopping around in our back yard. He was SUPER little, as you can tell! He would chirp out to his mommy and she would come down to feed him, so cute. I had front row seat to this from our sliding glass door... unfortunately I didn't have the camera ready to go at this point.

He spent the entire day hanging around out back, so I was able to snap these pics. I love his little yellow/orange beak and bright red mouth. He was either trying to scare me or he was wanting food and thought I was his mommy.

One week later...
Upon arriving home from subbing, I found little Mr. Peeps hanging out on my door mat. So cute! So I grabbed my camera again and photographed him exploring the neighborhood. Anna will attest that I was flat out OBSESSED with this little birdy on this particular day... but he was such a cute mini-bird!

So cute in the evergreen tree!

I love the little feathery fluff on his head!
